Turn off Facebook vibrations? (Android)

I've put my phone on silent (no vibration) but Facebook notifications still vibrate! Any ideas?

In facebook go to menu, go to settings and under notifications unselect the vibrations tickbox.

Nope. Because a) I never use Facebook, and c) you forgot to mention what phone you're using. (you don't wanna know b!) :)

A) You're an idiot. B) It does not matter what phone he is using if it is android. c) You failed at sounding clever.

LOL... can you read? DID I say "nope" - as in "nope, no idea"?! Yes, I did.
So, you start of by showing that you registered here to post a rude comment. What are the odds I care about anything further you may or (more probably) may not have to add?

Yes, phone type was irrelevant, maybe... god, I guess I'll shoot myself.
Where were you 6 months ago when the OP needed your wit and helpfulness?

What helpfulness he didn't answer the question?

I can say what I like, I can't get fired...

JanSt / MOD  Feb. 26, 2013 at 10:09

Ah... I thought so - but I read the thread on the mobile site where one can't see what's quote and what's new...
Also... I wonder if I can get fired? It doesn't say so in my contract. :D Not explicitely.

The advantages of living somewhere with a proper internet connection, eh :p?

They'll be able to fire you, believe me (not that I imagine they'd want to, I like to think we do a decent job of keeping this place tidy and polite-ish...sometimes :p).

I can have my MOD privileges revoked, but I can't actually get fired; primarily due to the fact I'm not employed by Mobot or whoever Mobot's parent company is.

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!

Go to that thread and untick the notify me box ;)Also, at the top of the thread's page click on 'unfollow'.
If that doesn't work, use the 'contact' address at the bottom of each page and let the admin know.

Advice how? Is that the FB app or in built-in accounts, or what?

Tap the "Menu" on the Top Left screen, and tap the "Account" and it will prompt up 3 options for selection. Choose "App Settings" (2nd option), and you will see the category of "NOTIFICATION SETTINGS" and the "Vibrate" function is at the 2nd position. What you do is to "Uncheck" the Vibrate selection. It will work then. ^^
