Should I turn on Orange roaming for Spain or get PAYG?

I am going to be in Spain for a month. I won't use my phone much but I still want it for calls and texts. If I get international roaming activated, would it cost a complete fortune for the few times I use it? Would it probably be safer to grab a pre-paid PAYG sim card over there and just pop it in for the time period (phone is already unlocked). Recommendations?

Depends upon how much you want to use it to be honest. The costs can be found here and depending on how much you intend to use it you can buy discount bundles.

The main advantage of buying a local PAYG SIM is keeping track of your spend.

Thanks for that - clicking useful answer :) I think I like the idea of sticking £20 in a PAYG account and then not worrying about excessive charges.
