Sorry, another twitter question! But what's MT in the context of what seems to be a normal retweet? I swear people are making it more complicated than it needs to be ;)

It means Modified (Re-) Tweet. Imagine you want to quote someone's Tweet, but to save characters you slightly edit it, or leave out a link, or you add a link, or you add a hashtag etc...
You add MT to indicate that you made some sort of change/s
