Thanks, pondlife.

Looks clean. Wonder when it'll be available for the HTC HD2 ;)

Anyway... being able to develop apps that'll run on the phone and desktop via QML sounds good.

Can they pull it off? Not sure, tbh. But at least it's something to look forward to that isn't just "faster and bigger"

And since it'll be open and tweakable the tech bloggosphere might take to it.

N9-ish swipe action sounds good to me.

Definitely be trying this when it comes out, looks aesthetically pleasing from what those pictures show.

The firm then plans to release a file for Galaxy Nexus phones by February, and later for other handsets and ultimately tablet computers as well.

Suddenly I feel like buying a used Nexus :D

Should be getting cheaper all the time, still bulky though

I was a huge fan of the original atrix when it had the desktop capabilities. From what ive seen here this looks miles better. Only thing I'd say is that it could get a bit annoying with everythingbeing controlled by a swipe. I would like to see at least 2 or 3 physical buttons for home and multitasking.

Use an N9 for 3 days, and you'll want nothing else

AhmadCentral  Jan. 3, 2013 at 01:53

I have used an n9 before and it was good. But that's because there was less stuff to swipe out. That sidebar can get really annoying quick. The one on the galaxy note 2 with the small peak out in the middle of the edge already **** me off so I hide it whenever I use one.
