Rejoice! It’s finally Samsung Galaxy S4 time. Those who pre-ordered Sammo’s latest and greatest have started receiving the best-thing-since-S3 via courier and that. Er, well, some of them.
Echoing last week’s story that Samsung’s flagship Stratford Westfield store wouldn’t see stock till today, and in line with Samsung's announcement this week, we’re hearing that not all Galaxy S4 pre-orders are being fulfilled.
A few days ago, Samsung warned: “Due to overwhelming global demand of Galaxy S4, the initial supply may be limited. We expect to fulfil inventory to meet demands in the coming weeks."
More recently, Samsung told TechRadar: "There has been unprecedented demand for the Galaxy S4 in the UK. Samsung is working hard to ensure that pre-orders and sales across all channels are fulfilled as soon as possible."
O2 reveals: "For us, some customers (who've pre-ordered their handset before 19 April) will get their handset on 26 April. These customers will receive an SMS to let them know, if a contact number has been provided at point of order.
"For other customers who've ordered their handset before 19 April they'll receive their handset from 27 April." Er, from sounds slightly ominous.
Meanwhile, Three purrs: "As Samsung have stock issues, we're unable to deliver the S4 to all customers who have pre-ordered. We're working closely with Samsung to do everything we can to get the S4 to our customers as soon as it's available."
Anyone out there pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy S4? Have you – fingers crossed – received your purr-chase? Or have you been told it’ll be delayed? Let us know, duders.
