UK PAYG credit that lasts indefinitely?

Which UK mobile networks let you top up whenever you like? My mum doesn't use much credit, so we don't want to have to top up every month...

Erm any I think as long as you make chargeable call/text about every 6 months but you won't get the monthly bonuses and offers

Three never expired my credit. You will not get any extras that come with topping up, but actual credit does not expire. Make sure you do not use credit to buy any of the bundles they offer as those will expire.

Yep - here in Ireland it's 6 months. If you don't use the SIM or re-topup, the SIM's gone, and so is the credit on it.
Folks do not realise that prepay is a form of contract, too. The SIM doesn't belong to us.
Networks get away with practices that (Big Pharma aside) few other branches of industry get away with. Even banks have to wait longer than 6 months before they can close inactive accounts.
