Unlimited 4G data

What's the best UK network if I'm looking for unlimited 4G data? Tethering not essential, but would be a nice to have.

I am using Three and for £15 a month, I get unlimited 4g where it is available location wise (if no 4g it falls back to unlimited 3g) and also get a few gigs worth of data to tether with as well.
Just make sure you get a good signal in your area.

I have no idea.... but this is interesting: average 4G speeds in the UK halved in the
past 12 months :D http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/mobile-phones/11209861/4G-mobile-speeds-halve-in-a-year.html

I'm in Ireland, but I did a quick search for you, and I'm none the wiser...
It seems some 'old' unlimited 3G deals are still valid with 4G - for existing customers.

Maybe some UK-based mobotniks have better ideas?
Good luck.

As above, Three's your best (possibly only?) option.

Three is the only network that offers unlimited uncapped data. Pretty much everyone else (including MVNOs) have some sort of fair usage policy.

There is no speed difference between 3G and 4G. 3G caps out @ 42Mpbs and 4G caps out @ 50Mbps (except new LTE-A that is very limited). There is no way you will ever get 42Mbps (or anywhere close) on either network or provider.

4G gives you better speeds due to less congestion. There are much more phones supporting 3G, making it more congested than 4G.
I've tried all networks and all of them support DC-HSDPA (3G @ 42Mbps). Vodafone is the only network that doesn't give consistent DC-HSDPA connection.

I think I may well be moving to Three when my contract is up early next year. EE seem to have all but killed off T-Mobile, so I doubt I'll get anything like a decent retention deal out of them, unfortunately.

Oh well, yet another UK customer probably off to Three....the other networks just don't seem to get it.
