Updates for Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 detailed

Updates for Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 detailedWindows Phone 8-rockin’ Lumia users might be very much in the minority, but hey, you probably like it that way, right? Android and iOS suck?

In any case, lonely or not, owners of the Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 are set to receive a spanking new update.

The Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 updates are detailed in an appropriately titled Nokia Developer post called – wait for it - Updates for Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620. Makes sense to me.

Some guy called Fred explains that the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 update (version 1232.5957.1308.00xx) includes performance and stability improvements, and improved auto-brightness action.

As for the Nokia Lumia 620 update (1030.6407.1308.00xx), users are promised improved touch behaviour, enhanced system stability, and a boost for camera picture quality.

The Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 will begin shipping with their respective updates shortly, while existing users will be upgraded, er, “later”.

If all this update malarky has you baffled, head over to the Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 update support page.

It's kinda okay... I was feeling generous.

I think I read enough of their writing in the comment above anyway.

Come on, following a spam link is surely more interesting that talking amongst yourselves, all the time?

So... In a nutshell: nobody is getting it any time soon?! Is that it?

Just checked my phone today and I have an update available.

Pondlife  Mar. 18, 2013 at 12:04

Is it that one?

B1zarr0Prim3  Mar. 18, 2013 at 12:40

Is it that one?

I had a the portico update a few weeks ago and had nothing since then up until now.
I'm going to update when I get home because I don't want to start fiddling around with my phone while I'm at work just in case I encounter a problem.

Edit: It doesn't appear to have updated to the version stated in the article.
It was an update from 1232.5951.1249.1017 to 1232.5951.1249.1018
Appears to only be for EE phones.
