With £140 to spare there are no recommendations. Closest phone that would be an upgrade for SF is Xperia Arc S @ £200

Note: This is based on assumption that you sticking with Android.

Yeah you won't find much better than the SF unless you go to the used market at that price. A Galaxy S is a bit better but not really worth an upgrade.

Acer Liquid Metal is a better phone, but again, not worth an upgrade.

£207 will buy you an Evo 3D or £200 will get you an Arc S. If you're willing to move to WP7, £150 will buy you a Nokia Lumia 710.

Thank you for your advice

£200 could be done if it was really worth the upgrade but I get the feeling from replies so far it may not be worth a upgrade at all?

I am flexible & dont have to stick to Android, but have not used WP7 yet. So guess google is needed now to compare them both.

If you have a san fran then the evo 3d is your best bet.. try asda 207 delivered cause if you dont like it you still have 7 day rtb.

Plus a 24 month HTC warranty (which are very highly regarded) if anything goes wrong with the phone.

The Evo 3D is a definite and worthy upgrade, IMO.

I recommend HTC Evo over Xperia Arc S. There is a slight problem with the fact that Xperia Arc S is available, while Evo is sold out.

Damn, is the Evo sold out now? That's not good, the Arc S is still a bargain for £180, especially when you consider it's definitely getting ICS.

It's not sold out, well not as of 19:02 06/03/2012

It's not worth the upgrade if you've just got £150 to spend. It is if you've got £207 for the EVO 3D ;)

many thanks for the advice

the evo 3d, looks like it could be the prefect up grade! be just my luck once i put the extra funds in place it wont be that cheap again :(

iv read mixed reviews about the battery in the Evo, can any one tell me from personal experience is the battery any worse or better than the battery in the OSF
