US manufacturer ViewSonic is certainly no stranger to the tablet game, with its most notable output to date probably being its dual-boot efforts, allowing customers to rock Android and Windows. Woop.
However, we’re hearing news of a real headline grabber, in the form of a ViewSonic tablet with a whopping 22in display. Goodness gracious.
A 22in ViewSonic tablet would be a fair bit bigger than Toshiba’s 13.3in slate, but nowhere near Steve Ballmer’s massive Windows 8-rockin’ 80-incher. Imagine four 10in tablets taped together and you’re in the right ballpark. Ish.
Like the aforementioned Windows 8 behemoth, the 22in ViewSonic tablet will be aimed at businesses, marketing itself as a boardroom device for presentations and stuff.
There’s no word on specs, price or release date at the moment, but the 22in ViewSonic beast is tipped to play host to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), with a possible Windows 8 variant.
The 22in ViewSonic tablet will make its debut at this year’s Computex in Taipei, which kicks off on June 5.
