Vodafone rolling out juicy Mangos today?

Vodafone rolling out juicy Mangos today?Word on the grapevine (there’s a fruit joke in there somewhere, I’m sure) is that Vodafone will start rolling out the Windows Phone Mango update from today.

But before you Vodafone UK chaps get your mangos in a twist, I should stress that it’s Vodafone Germany teasing the rumour mill with sexy whispers.

That’s according to a “credible source” of German site Windows Smartphones, which was kindly translated by WPCentral. How did they translate it? Bing, of course!

Microsoft unveiled Mango around four months ago, back in May, and promises 500+ new features (ahem). It’ll introduce integrated conversation threads, IE9 with HTML5 support, enhanced multitasking, and hundreds of other improvements that I don’t have time to list.

For a month we’ve been hearing that Mango is good to go. “Microsoft has delivered complete Mango earlier than planned to the manufacturers. Now it’s up to our manufacturing partners to release Mango to our customers. Feels good now,” said Microsoft’s Peter Wissinger mid-August.

Any sign of Mango? Keep us posted, Vodabots.
