Warranty for replacement phone

See if you get a replacement phone? Do you start a new warranty period since it's a new phone?

NO...
Your warranty continues from when you originally purchased the phone.
However, if your warrenty is due to end in less than 30/90days (depending on the manufacturer) then the warranty will last for the 30/90 days instead.

Not here in Ireland. Also: there's no guarantee the replacement phone is brandnew....

UK? No idea.

As said above, the warranty continues from the date of purchase/receipt of the original device. Some manufacturers do offer 30 or 90 day extensions on warranty replaced phones which are within 30 or 90 days of the end of the warranty period, but that's at each manufacturer's discretion.
