Seems like the article pictures* are bigger and are more in the way on main page of the site, has the website changed or is my browser causing this?

*and the ones in the pointless here's a trio of old articles links at the top

:) Got it hidden now stylebot extension to chrome to the rescue.

div.structure.structure-feature-boxes {
display: none;
}

Though removing it on phone would be even more useful. Hmm

I didn't notice any changes, tbh...
I'll take a closer look. but the backend's wordpress...afaik, images have fixed max size!?
maybe Lewis is planning an onslaught of hot santa babes photos?

I think you're right. Some articles now have photos spanning the entire width...
See, that happens when I don't get Emma's memos :p

I think the trio at the top don't work well in the page layout. Half the screen gone before seeing any new content. Tbh I'd rather they weren't there at all.

+1, they're a needless waste of page space which aren't updated often enough to be relevant if you're a site regular. How are they chosen?

All I know is that if I change the stylesheet to not show the pics it sadly keeps the space there, but removes the pics and collapses the space on the rhs of the main page. The text on that ends up left there looks like morse code now :)
