How do I make my website mobile friendly?

I run a little website that gets a few thousand hits a month. I want to make it mobile friendly so it looks good on iphones and things, but I don't really have the expertise to do it myself. Is there something I can use that's free which will do it for me?

Hi :)
For starters you could check out Mippin Mobilizer at
Note however, using Mippin Mobilizer you will no longer see your user-stats on Google analytics because they are redirected through Mippin instead.
There are other solutions, and here are 10 more:

The above was the 'neutral' me. Now the me me:
90% of my online activity happens by phone, and I am talking hours per day. I usually juggle two to three handsets to be able to cover all bases. And here's the thing: I despise mobile sites. They usual lack vital features, they put visitors through redirect-hell, they are bad to link to etc etc... If you want a mobile friendly site, I would suggest using as few flash-plugins as posible; go easy on image size, try not to break up articles into 10 parts, have well organised links to all features/sections on all pages.
There. I shut up now 8) No one evr listens to me hahaha
