What Website did you get it off? Where can I get one cheap for an 18 month Contract for less than £20?

I have scoured the internet and come to the conclusion that a Desire HD for £20 a month is not possible on am 18 month contract without paying upfront. From here I think you have two options:

1) If your budget is fixed, lower your expectations and get something like a Desire S
2) If you have a £5 a month more to spend go for a Samsung Galaxy S II or an HTC Sensation on a 24 month contract. Yes the contract is fairly long, but these are way more future proof phones and you can expect to get more money back when it comes to the time to sell your phone.

Also if you are an existing pay monthly customer you may be able to haggle a deal with retentions (this is normally where you find the best prices).

I am in the same boat as you (i.e. looking for a Samsung Galaxy S2 for free on an 18 month contract for £25 a month).

It looks like the same applies for both of us... that is - your going to have to pay around £25 to £50 up front in order to get your phone at that monthly tariff.

Scratch all that!
After looking on mobiles for every one (the link i gave in my first post), I found that you can get the Desire HD for free if you go on a £21.93 a month T-mobile tariff (18 month term).

Heres the link to refer to:
http://www.mobilesforeveryone.com/show.asp?hs=desirehd&price=50&network=&mins=&texts=&lr=&contract=18m&gift=&sortby=lr

Heres the direct link to the deal:
http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/aw2/basket.aspx?sitetype=contract&item=offer&action=add&offercode=18O2DHAW00

You can get it for £20.50 a month with O2 but you will have to pay £29 up-front. I prefer this deal.

However... dont get the Desire HD, its out-of-date now and the battery life sucks. Go for the SGS2 (Samsung Galaxy S2), its newer, lighter, faster = B E T T E R !!! 8)

I am not sure how much better the SGS2 battery life is than the Desire HD. But, I am gonna post a new thread now to find out.

I am just moments away from getting that SGS2! <3
