That little conundrum aside, it is hard to find detailled, conclusive figures, yet, even for Quarter 4 of 2010 - as a platform, Android dominated, beating Symbian and the iPhone, but on a one-on-one basis? I think in Q4 2010 the Nokia N8 outsold the Samsung Galaxy S - a pretty good seller, but actually it seems Blackberry sold a shedload of Curves and Bolds in December 2010. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/blackberry/8289313/Blackberry-the-top-UK-smartphone.html BUT AGAIN: that is more than one device. So, heck: sure, the iPhone it is. Or the Curve 8520, or N8 or C7 or Wildfire.

Anyone else? Clear, authoritative data?

Would be nice to have actual figures to compare handset vs handset.

that's about £340, right? Probably HTC Desire S, Samsung Galaxy S...etc etc...
