Here's a current list of all UK contract deals for the Sony Ericsson Arc. I could have just picked the cheapest, but maybe one of the networks isn't well covered where you live?! I'm not psychic :p

Incidentally, I had a chance to play with one on Saturday. It beats the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 by miles and miles, but as gorgeous as it is - it looks so thin and fragile. I was really concerned just touching that beau!
So, I will wait how it fares in real-life longterm use before I'll consider buying one. Still, great step up from Sony Ericsson's previous Android attempts. And heaps cheaper than the Play ;)

Yea it seems like a great phone from 1st impressions, gonna go with Orange I think, 900 mins + Unlimited texts + 750MB data for £32.50 (24 Months) through E2save, with cashback works out to be £27.76 a month, not bad i quess.

Plus points:
* The design is very stylish and amazingly thin!
*Great 8.1 MP Camera
*SE Widgets are pretty useful such as the media button and the Track ID
* Mobile Bravia Engine Display makes video playback stunning on the massive 4.2inch Screen
*Latest Version of Andorid 2.3
*Smooth Interface with the 1Ghz single-core CPU (without timescape)

Drawbacks:
* It hasn’t got that solid feel and some quite delicate > needs to be well cared for
* Battery life last about a day but it was expected
*The buttons are quite small
*Personally don’t like the SE text messaging- too basic, would recommend using Handcent App

Thanks for the info :)
Nosey: how do you like the Timescape 'widget'?

Dont really use it tbh

Thanks... that's close to 100% of people I asked - I only had the Sony Xperia X10 for a week or so, but I hated Timescape... I was certain they'd never use it in another device :|
