Whatsapp for tablets?

I was looking at tablets and might get one soon but can you use Whatsapp on them?

Actually Jan, Whats App only works on phones as of now.

Shocking I know as you'd expect it to work on tablets.

As of now whatsapp is tied to the mobile phone number of your phone and can only be installed on one phone device at a time.

There are workarounds for getting whatsapp on a tablet. You can google for more info.

I didn't know that... Well, I guess that's today's thing learnt :).

I followed an online guide and have managed to install Whats App on my android tablet after a fuss and fiddle but didn't think it through. Even though its sitting on the tablet. it's pretty useless as it operates through your telephone contacts
