How long has it been since our last white iPhone 4 news item? A full week? Clearly the rumour mill is getting sloppy, but here comes Bloomberg to save the day.
Last week, Apple Rumours.it pointed out that all traces of the white iPhone 4 had been removed from Apple’s websites. At the time it was considered the final nail in the white iPhone 4’s coffin, but don’t bury that little guy just yet!
According to “three people with knowledge of the plans,” Apple will release the white iPhone 4 “in the next few weeks”. They expect the white iPhone 4 will be available in the US before the end of the month, but no mention of us in the UK.
The white iPhone 4 was revealed alongside its black brother at Apple’s WWDC in June 2010, but has been continually delayed due to unnamed production issues. It has been suggested that there were problems with the paint.
This latest rumour is given extra credence by the suggestion that the iPhone 5 won’t be launched at this year’s WWDC in June, arriving some time in autumn instead. The white iPhone 4 would help plug that gap and appease Apple diehards.
We won’t hold our collective Mobo-breath, but it does seem like there might maybe be a vague chance of a possibility of a release, finally.
