We all know white is the new... wait, hang on, what was it again?
Oh well, never mind. The point is the white version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is now available, and you can grab yourself one right this very minute by sashaying over to the Vodafone site.
The Galaxy S II is probably most people's favourite choice for the best smartphone on the market – or to avoid the wrath of the iPhone brigade the best smartphone on the market not made by Apple.
Of course, depending on who you listen to that's simply because Samsung is a big Korean copycat and has nicked all of Apple's clever ideas – including making phones in white, no doubt.
Anyway, so the white Galaxy S II. It's the same as the black Galaxy S II, which means a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3in Super AMOLED Plus screen, 8.49mm thick chassis (no more, no less) and of course Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
And you can have all of that for nothing, provided you're happy forking out £36 a month for the next two years. That will get you a sensible mix of 900 free minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data every month, though of course if you bump up your allocations by picking a more expensive deal.
So here's the question: does it look better in white or black? Never been a fan of white phones, but in this case, I'd actually say it's the better looking.
