Will I be happy going from a Blackberry Curve to a Motorola Milestone?

Right now, I use my Blackberry to browse a lot, and use twitter and facebook a few times a day. I text a bit, but don't email much. I'm thinking of moving to the Milestone. Thoughts?

Browsing on the Milestone is, well, miles better. The Android stockbrowser is better, plus: there are a lot of 3rd party browsers available for Android - most faster and more feature-rich than the BB's. Same goes for Twitter and Facebook use. Only disadvantage: the Curve definitely beats the Milestone's battery performance.

One phone being ‘better’ than another is entirely subjective - there’s no black and white answer. The Blackberry Curve is probably better if you spend a lot of time emailing and texting, while the Motorola Milestone is better geared for browsing and social networking. Getting used to Android might take a little time, but there are loads of forums out there with useful advice, hints and tips.
