Rejoice, Windows Phone 7 people! OS version 7.0.7390.0 – aka NoDo – is finally here. The update has started rolling out, and Microsoft has confirmed the full list of improvements on its Windows Phone update history page.
Of course, copy & paste is the big attraction. You can now copy text from emails, texts, web pages and Office documents and “paste it anywhere you can type.” About bloomin’ time.
Apps and games will now open and resume faster. The Marketplace search has been improved, as has the stability of the Marketplace while downloading apps. The restriction on the number of Wi-Fi profiles has also been lifted.
Other changes include improved viewing of iPhone photos received via non-Exchange-basd accounts, improved Facebook syncing, and a smoother transition from camera to video mode.
Mango is expected to be a more significant Windows Phone 7 update, bringing multitasking and IE9 with partial HTML 5 support. It’s due later in the year, but there are already rumours that it might slip back to 2012.
