Windows Phone 8 at CES/MWC?

Is there much chance of seeing big new Windows Phone 8 releases at CES/MWC?
I was thinking probably not since the first wave has just launched.
But I'm wondering if I should wait and see before picking up a Nokia Lumia 920.

Considering all the delays of this 'current' batch, I wouldn't hold my breath. Also: WP8 has pretty strict hardware restrictions, so I doubt you'll see anything much better than a Nokia Lumia 920 or HTC 8X or (unreleased) the Samsung Ativ S anytime soon.

Though maybe that 6" monster might make it *chuckle*
Wouldn't overly surprise me if Nokia were dumb enough to give information on let's call it the 940 with a launch date of summer 2013 and actually arriving in November.
Guess there are those who weren't allowed to have launch phones who could bring something if they think it's worthwhile..

I doubt there'll be anything too special, lots of TVs and a few US only (and unimportant) phones are all we're likely to see at CES.

Doesn't just say ces though...

...and they didn't ask about something special, just about wp8 phones..

I still don't think we'll see anything significantly better than the current WP8 devices in the next 6 months or so.
They'll wait for holiday sales figures, January sales etc etc Milk what they can.
And hey, Ativ S not out yet at all. Htc and Nokia are still absent in many markets and more networks... Nokia don't rush anything these days and Samsung are rather committed to Android, as are HTC. LG must have lost a good bunch of bucks with the first WP devices which went straight to bargain bins everywhere.
Acer have taken a wait and see attitude and are unlikely to launch anything but a midranger, anyways...

I'd counter that Nokia seem to have rushed out a 620 to compete price wise with the low end 8s. Had a disagreement with someone over the minimum wp8 spec 8s being low end..
Could still see HTC put out a real top up phone to compete with the 920?

LG seem a bit busy anyway.
