The Windows Phone 8 partners are slowly but surely teasing their wares in the run up to the expected October/November assault.
Nokia and Samsung have already blown their respective lids, and now Chinese manufacturer Huawei is getting in on the action, with a little something called the Ascend W1.
I say “a little something”; it’s not actually clear what size the Huawei Ascend W1 will be. Indeed, Huawei Ascend W1 specs are a complete mystery.
However, in any case, Chinese site winp.cn reckons it’ll sell for 2,000 Chinese yuan, which translates to roughly £200 in our money. Sounds like we’re looking at a mid-ranger.
Oh, the Huawei Ascend W1 will also be available in four colours, namely black, white, pink and blue. And, er, that's all we know for now.
HTC, meanwhile, is expected to launch its Windows Phone 8 players on Wednesday. We’ve heard whispers of a trio of handsets, namely the HTC Zenith, Rio and Accord.
