HTC HD7 owners can now install the long-awaited MoDo upgrade, thanks to xdadevelopers. The update brings copy-and-paste functionality to Windows Phone 7, along with general performance improvement.
For those with a generic HTC HD7, the update should complete no problem. If it’s tied to a network, you’ll have to use the “gold card” method to fool your HTC HD7 into thinking it’s generic.
If you can’t be bothered faffing around with ROMs and flashing and junk, don't worry; Microsoft is expected to begin the official rollout within the next few weeks.
Mango, a more substantial WP7 update with multitasking and IE9, was expected later in the year, though rumours suggest it might be delayed till 2012.
