WWDC15 Starts at 6pm - Watch it on your PC or mobile device in a few easy steps

The Worldwide Developer's Conference kicks off 6pm! We thought we would give you a heads up on how you can watch it from your Windows PC, Mac or mobile device! For Apple users, if you are using OSX or iOS on your iPhone you can simply Click here and view via Safari.

Things might not as simple if you are an Android or Windows device user though! Thankfully there is a work around courtesy of the guys at 9to5Mac and it is all pretty straight forward. Before we go ahead it's worth mentioning that some Android device users can simply click here hit play to launch the WDCC15 just fine. If this isn't the case for you, just follow the steps below and you should be good to go.

Firstly you will need to download the relevant VLC player for your device.

  • Windows devices - Here
  • Android devices - Here

Now you have the VLC player installed, you will need to launch it and find the "Media" tab and select "Open Network Stream" Once there you will need to copy and past the following link into the URL text box: http://p.events-delivery.apple.com.edgesuite.net/15pijbnaefvpoijbaefvpihb06/m3u8/atv_mvp.m3u8
and then hit the "Play" button.  It is as simple as that, besides grabbing a coffee and putting your feet up. Enjoy!
