Xperia Mint: new Sony flagship leaked and reviewed

Xperia Mint: new Sony flagship leaked and reviewedWay back in January, Phil was saying that there were no less than 11 Sony handsets expected throughout the year.

One of those was the Sony Xperia Mint, and now it’s appeared in the flesh and received a massively in-depth review.

The Sony Xperia Mint, or LT30p, appears over on mobile-review, complete with six billion (only a slight exaggeration) screenshots.

Here’s the lowdown: Sony Xperia Mint specs include a 1280 x 720 display, 13MP rear camera, Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), 1GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage complemented by a microSD slot.

Mobile-review reckons the Sony Xperia Mint display measures 4.3in (same as the Sony Xperia S), however a side-by-side shot with the Samsung Galaxy S III suggests it might be a tad bigger.

The build quality on the Sony Xperia Mint doesn’t look particularly reassuring, but it’s not clear if it’s the final model or a pre-release prototype. We’ll reserve judgement till Sony serves official juice.

No fancy lightband around the bottom? Good :p
That photo, though, looks like a mock-up. Has Eldar gone rogue?

I read some of the (p)review and screen seems a weak aspect, is good to see they've dumped that see through band for sure.

On an unconnected note I saw that ZTE have released a JB phone.
