At 4.5in, the original ZTE Blade Q was already fairly “mini” by today’s standards (the HTC One mini and Samsung Galaxy S4 mini are both 4.3in), but make way for the ZTE Blade Q Mini; it shaves another half inch off the already pocket-friendly ZTE Blade Q.
The good news: the ZTE Blade Q Mini is priced £60. The bad news: it’s exclusive to Virgin Media for now.
The ZTE Blade Q Mini was in fact launched alongside its big bro last October, and not forgetting the even bigger ZTE Blade Q Maxi, but only now is the small chap landing in the UK.
Virgin Media has secured a ZTE Blade Q Mini network exclusive, though it’ll be available from Argos and Sainsbury’s too (locked to Virgin Mobile).
You might recall that the ZTE Blade Q, Blade Q Mini and Blade Q Maxi differed only in terms of display size/resolution and battery. Otherwise, they're pretty much identical.
As such, ZTE Blade Q Mini specs include a 4in IPS display (480 x 800, 233PPI), 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, 4GB internal storage (with microSD), Jelly Bean Android 4.2, and a 1,500mAh battery.
No sign of the ZTE Blade Q Mini on the Virgin Media website at the time of writing, but we’re told it’s going on sale from today.
