Now ZTE has issued a press release promising a further eight smartphones at Mobile World Congress next week. Good. Gawd.
ZTE doesn’t go into too much detail, though we’re told there’ll be at least one quad-core device, which will act as ZTE’s flagship.
In terms of operating systems, ZTE will bring both Android and Windows Phone goodies to Barcelona.
The Chinese manufacturer also reveals that it aims to become a top three manufacturer by 2015. Good on you.
"There is no doubt that this year's Mobile World Congress will again see some exciting device launches. The new devices from ZTE will demonstrate how ZTE is without doubt among an elite group of handset providers as next generation telecommunications networks roll out globally,” screamed Mr. He Shiyou, Executive VP and Head of ZTE's Terminals Division.
“ZTE returns at least ten percent of its revenues back into R&D to ensure that it sustains its position as a true market innovator – and we're counting down to being able to showcase this to the world's mobile industry next week."
We'll meet these eight new chaps in Barcelona on Monday morning, at 10.30am CET.
