Racing towards our third anniversary, I reckon my brain is fast approaching saturation point when it comes to new devices. Fortunately, there’s pretty much nothing worth remembering about the ZTE Grand S Flex, and as such I’ll be expunging it the second I hit ‘Publish’.
If mobile phones were crisps, the ZTE Grand S Flex would surely be Ready Salted. Not that there’s anything wrong with Ready Salted per se, it’s just very… plain, y’know?
Setting expectations a tad high, ZTE bawls: "The driving force behind the ZTE Grand S Flex is a combination of modern technology and intuitive handling. Outstanding technology must be met with attractive design to adapt to the needs of our customers.
“The ZTE Grand S Flex provides this and much more with iconic detail consisting of thin and clear lines that make the handset a stylish must-have.”
And here comes the Ready Salted part. ZTE Grand S Flex specs include 5in HD display (that’s 720p HD), dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 8MP/1MP cameras, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 2,300mAh battery, and Jelly Bean Android 4.1 - now three versions behind the latest.
ZTE Grand S Flex price will be crucial; perhaps it’ll offer face-punching value for money. Alas, the Chinese manufacturer neglects to mention it in the press release.
Ah well, not that it matters much to us. The ZTE Grand S Flex is now available in Spain, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and will arrive “shortly” in Germany, Finland and Poland.
