ZTE Nubia Z5 poses for the camera ahead of official launch

ZTE Nubia Z5 poses for the camera ahead of official launchZTE is best known for affordable-but-decent low-end chaps like the ZTE Blade (Orange San Francisco), but the Chinese manufacturer announced a new range of high-end Nubia phones at the end of October.

The first of those will be the ZTE Nubia Z5, and a full-frontal pic has emerged ahead of the presumably imminent launch.

What do we know about the ZTE Nubia Z5? Well, as the name suggests, we’re looking at a 5in display, with muchos speculation – and it really is purely speculation – that it might be 1080p.

Other ZTE Nubia Z5 specs will supposedly include a quad-core processor and 13MP rear camera, while it also boasts, er, “Italian” design. What the…?

The latest ZTE Nubia Z5 pic doesn’t give anything further away, though it’s amusing to note how much that clock looks like an iPod wheel. Better be careful there, ZTE (insert winky face).

The ZTE Nubia Z5 is expected to hit China this month, while us westerners should expect to learn more at CES in January. Probably.
