ZTE Nubia Z7 is a thing, possibly a high-end 5in thing

ZTE Nubia Z7 is a thing, possibly a high-end 5in thingWith launches every other day, you’d be forgiven for struggling to keep up with, like, all the smartphones. Indeed, at one point, even the most avid smartphone watchers believed the ZTE Nubia Z7 and Nubia X6 to be one and the same thing.

But nope! The ZTE Nubia Z7 is something altogether different, as confirmed by the Chinese stallion itself.

The ZTE Nubia X6 was unveiled back in March this year, and two months later the first batch sold out in 9.8 seconds.

For the record, ZTE Nubia X6 specs include a fairly massive 6.4in 1080p display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, and a choice of 32GB, 64GB or 128GB internal storage. Not too shabby at all.

Though formerly linked with the ZTE Nubia Z7 moniker, we’re learning that it will in fact be an entirely different beast, thanks to an official Z7 teaser on the Nubia Weibo page – Weibo effectively being the Chinese twitter.

Not a great deal is known as far as ZTE Nubia Z7 specs go at the moment, but it’s tipped to be significantly smaller than the Nubia X6, perhaps as low as 5in, while I’ll bet all 73 pennies in my bank account that it’ll rock Android. What else?
